Starting 1994, he worked in steal industry, being junior trader, trader, country manager in a Singaporian company reprezentance, Windmill. In 2001, he founded and managed a consultancy company, optimizing procurement costs for the biggest steal users from region. After Insead, he entered in pharma/biotech industry, coordinating from Austria and Switzerland the extension project of biotech giant Amgen Inc in center and the east of Europe. Since 2006 he came back to Romania and is Executive Director of Unirea Medical Center, one of the most important  medical services suppliers, with the biggest own chain of clinics and hospitals.

Among the most important achievements include the fluctuation of staff reduction to 2% by organizational development programs, successfully coordinating the merger with Schering Plough with Organon Bio Sciences and Intervet and transforming HR functions in a business partner. Currently working on integrating Schering Plough company in Merck Sharp & Dohme Romania. Defines her an innovative spirit by which she addresses human resources processes and also an open communication style in dealing with business partners. Since the beginning of October 2009, Monica is part of MSD team as Human Resources Leader Romania.
